The roots of Fort Myers Marine date back over 35 years, but the story starts when our founder and former owner, Charles Calkins, turned his lifelong passion of "fixing anything" into what would become southwest Florida's largest single-location boat retailer and service department. His passion for helping people and ability to treat every customer like family, was the start of something different, something unique, something you couldn't experience at other big box boat dealers - the opportunity to be known, valued and appreciated.
